I wanted to make a quick post about how to do this as it took me a little bit of googling - i’m NOT a mac geek at all, having used PCs for most of my working life. I can get Flash and Photoshop running on a mac but other than that i’m still a beginner!
I read Mat Buckland’s ‘AI Techniques for Game Programming’ a while ago and was really interested in the section on recognising mouse gestures. In his demo he pre-trains a network to recognise a set of shapes that can be drawn with a mouse, and then also adds the ability to train the network to recognise a new gesture defined by the user. So I’ve recreated that demo using Flash and Red5.
